Dermalux Light Treatment

Dermalux is a multi-award-winning treatment that uses the highest quality LEDs, expertly aligned to deliver each therapeutic wavelength at a specific, measured energy output, intensity, and dose. This advanced technology allows all three wavelengths to be used at the same time for the most effective treatment.

Specific wavelengths are absorbed by the skin to stimulate cell renewal and collagen production, resolve problem skin conditions such as acne and redness and accelerate skin healing. It is a safe treatment without discomfort or downtime.

Dermalux LED Therapy delivers Red 633, Near-Infrared 830 and Blue 415 for skin rejuvenation, collagen and elastin production, healing skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, infections and wounds, post-treatment recovery, acne and banishing blemish-causing bacteria.

The rejuvenating Red Light energises skin cells and accelerates collagen and elastin production to increase skin hydration. This light helps restore glow.
The Near-Infrared Light promotes healthy skin whilst calming redness/irritation and reducing pigmentation issues. And finally, Blue Light destroys the bacteria causing blemishes and spots whilst also calming problematic skin zones.

Each treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes and is a pleasant, relaxing experience under the light. The Dermalux treatment is pain-free, with no downtime and suitable for all skin types.

Post & aftercare advice for LED phototherapy.

• In preparation for your treatment all makeup and skincare including sunscreen should be removed to allow the absorption of the beneficial light into the skin.

• For optimum results exfoliate prior to your treatment to remove dead skin cells which may reflect the light away from the skin.

• It is not necessary to remove contact lenses prior to your treatment.

• Makeup can be applied after your treatment. We would recommend a mineral based foundation that will allow your skin to breathe.

• Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration levels.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Clients can expect an immediate improvement to skin tone, hydration and luminosity whilst the beneficial light simultaneously stimulates the deeper cell processes for longer lasting benefits.

Course recommendation:

6-12 treatments are recommended 2/3 treatments a week. A review is recommended after 6 to assess your skin. A 24-hour time period between treatments is generally recommended for inflammatory conditions such as acne, redness and sensitive skin however for general skin rejuvenation, treatments can be taken in daily succession.

COURSE FREQUENCY…

Due to cell activation, results can last for several weeks following a course of Dermalux treatments. However, regular maintenance treatments are advised to extend results as part of an on-going skin health programme.
